Then just register your details here and you’ll be logged onto our system, so you can come back to your application form as often as you like.
To apply, you need to:
- Be expecting to receive a minimum of a 2:1 degree (with the exception of the following programmes: Buying and Merchandising and Production Technology which require a 2:2)*
- Have a minimum of CCC (240 UCAS points)** at A level/Scottish Highers or other equivalent qualifications (excluding General Studies) for all office programmes. This is with the exception of the Corporate Marketing and Customer Analysis and Research programmes which require 280
- Have obtained a minimum of C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualifications
- Be legally able to work in the UK
- Have no criminal convictions which are not regarded as spent under the rehabilitation of offenders act 1974
- Be mobile throughout the UK - for example, you should be prepared to relocate now or in the future, depending on where your job is based. We will take into account personal circumstances
In addition, for the Stores and Distribution programmes, you should:
- Be prepared to work shifts over a seven day period
- Be happy to work on the shop/warehouse floor
- Have worked previously for another retailer (Stores only)
- Have the ambition to become a store manager (Stores) or general manager (Distribution)
In addition, for the Office programmes, you should:
- Be prepared to work in other areas of our business to support your training and development
- Be prepared to work in our stores at key times of the year, as you will be expected to help our store staff at Christmas and Easter for example
Just don't forget:
You can only apply once each year, and only to one programme.
The closing date for our programmes is detailed on the individual programme pages.
*Please note: if you are successful and offered a position at Tesco, you will be required to provide evidence that you have reached the minimum degree standard required.
**Our Store and Distribution, Property and Site Research programmes do not require UCAS points as part of your application
