Competency Framework

The Competency Framework describes nine behaviours that are considered critical to success at Tesco. The application form, interview and assessment centre will incorporate some of these key behaviours.

Champions, supports and delivers changes to improve things. Helps others by overcoming barriers.

Supports and challenges individuals to achieve their full potential. Sets stretching objectives and measures progress against them. Manages resources effectively.

Strives to achieve results through determination and commitment. Keeps going when things are difficult.

Matches words with actions to build trust and respect.
