You probably know we're a successful business but did you know our Corporate Responsibility commitments mean that we're a sustainable one too?

Tesco stood out to me over and above the rest, as a successful multi-national company, with the variety and scope to progress the career I wanted. The programme places you in a real job from day one so you're not just shadowing someone. They give you responsibility and the opportunity to make a difference. It’s very rewarding to feel that you’re making a valuable contribution to the business.
You can work in a variety of roles with a mix of different people. In Local Marketing I developed campaigns for new and existing stores. In the Promotions team I improved my technical and analytical skills by working on reports for the business. After which I went into store for a couple of months where I learnt all about the operational side of retail. It was great to put my knowledge from Head Office into practise in store. As you can see, I experienced a whole range of jobs in quite a short time and no two days are ever the same so there’s never a dull moment!
Then I moved into the Clubcard team where I launched part of the scheme for Ireland. It was an exciting role that involved frequent travel to Dublin. I'm still in the same team but now I manage our collaborative mailing programme which enables suppliers and areas of our commercial business to mail customers with information and ofers on the products and services they love.
Marketing is an exciting area to work in and I have had a great start working with some talented and motivated people. The customer is at the heart of what we do through and through and it is true that you will live and breathe Every Little Helps. During the programme you’ll develop a range of managerial, project and people skills setting you up for your future career.
