The graduate programme is really well structured actually, so we don't need to worry initially because it's all there clearly given to you in writing. You get all the knowledge you want to get in the store and company. When I talked to my friends and colleagues outside work about joining, they all had a very positive reaction to me joining Tesco and all held the business in very high regard. They did say it might be a challenge, you will enjoy it and move around a lot of places - so there was some negative feedback, but more positive feedback which helped me really look forward to joining the Tesco graduate scheme.

Tesco for me was just a job before I joined, but once inside you can really see how much effort goes into giving a great customer service. It's not one man's job there, it's a very big team of people working - right from the store and distribution to head office, so there's hundred's of thousands of people together making the best customer service and availability of products to customers.

The best achievement I've made at Tesco is that I feel I have the confidence of my colleagues, my Store Manager and Store Director. Not a lot of people can say that. The trust they have in me as helped me to go far. In two years from now I see myself as a Store Manager and then Store Director and in 10 years time into one of the International Regional Director roles. You have no limits in Tesco. If you have motivation and self confidence then you can just keep going further and further in the business.
